About us

Redwood & Ranunculus (R&R) is a locally owned floral workshop and event venue in Felton, California - the heart of the Santa Cruz Mountains.

The owner (Hannah) is the passionate founder and creative force behind Redwood & Ranunculus &  Mau Loa Bouquets Floral Preservation. Raised on the island of Maui, Hawaii, her deep connection to the Hawaiian culture and the spirit of hospitality has shaped both her personal life and professional career. As a mother of four, Hannah brings a unique perspective to everything she does, balancing her family life with her dedication to creating unforgettable moments for others.

Hannah's journey began in Maui, where she first developed a love for the hospitality industry. After moving to Santa Cruz, California, in her teens, she stayed closely connected to her roots and the values of aloha. She pursued her academic dreams by studying Sustainable Hospitality Management at Cal State Monterey Bay, where she honed the skills that would later shape her career.

Over the years, Hannah has worn many hats within the hospitality world. From managing the vibrant hospitality environment at Top Golf Las Vegas to overseeing food and beverage operations at the renowned Pasatiempo Golf Course, and assisting with special events and weddings at the prestigious Hollins House, Hannah’s experience has always centered around creating meaningful experiences for guests. Her work has taught her the power of bringing people together and crafting moments that leave lasting memories.

This passion for creating exceptional experiences eventually led Hannah to open Redwood and Ranunculus where she continues to curate unique, one-of-a-kind experiences that celebrate nature, art, and creativity. Her space serves as a platform for collaborations with local artists, makers, and farmers, allowing her to showcase the beauty of handmade, sustainable, and locally sourced products. Whether it’s a floral arrangement, an event, or an intimate gathering, Hannah’s work is an expression of her love for nature and her commitment to connecting people through meaningful, creative experiences.
